What started as a frustrated homeowner with a beeping smoke detector battery at 2 a.m. has transpired into patented technology. We engaged electrical and mechanical engineers in June 2018 and quickly learned just how much of a difference this device can make. We’ve decided that if Orrigen saves just one life, it will be worth the journey. This device will transform the way emergency personnel respond to events and will put the most anxious mind to rest. We are Orrigen and we are where safety begins.
Macie Walker, Chief Executive Officer
Macie joins Orrigen with a strong execution background honed while working for a major consulting company and a Fortune 100 services company. Macie’s primary focuses have been in the areas of fiscal discipline and program and change Management, with a marketing emphasis. Macie’s unique skills position the company to build and manage a strong brand while maintaining a fiscally-responsible position and executing on business strategy.
As the Chief Executive Officer, Macie has responsibility for managing revenue, expenses and external financing to maintain consistent growth. Macie is also focused on investor relationships and the related communication to those partnerships. Based on her strong background in marketing, she naturally handles all of Orrigen’s brand management by creating all the collateral that is used in all areas of the company. Her thought leadership and relationship management acumen has built a strong brand and credibility in the market.
Mike Orr, Chief Technology Officer
Mike is recognized as a Technology leader with a track record of delivering value at speed across multiple Fortune 500 companies in various industries. Mike’s list of accomplishments centers around pushing disruptive technologies to solve business problems, creating unparalleled value, and utilizing technology as a change catalyst and differentiator amongst peers. He is widely sought out for consultation in the latest technologies and his strong business acumen.
As the Chief Technology Officer, Mike partners with our engineering and software development teams to ensure our technology is properly translated and maximized in product design and practical application. He leads all of our technology innovation and ensures Orrigen is always on the cutting-edge of technology by employing the latest techniques in Cloud, Edge, IoT, Data Science and UX/UI design. Mike is the founder of Orrigen and is accredited with developing and patenting our technology.
Andrew Kitch, Managing Partner, Business Development/Residential
Andrew’s last two years have positioned him to make an immediate contribution to Orrigen in a variety of areas specifically focused on data management and application development. Working on the latest cloud-based big-data platforms and using data to drive decisions, Andrew has navigated all areas of management to provide valuable insights to how the business should function. Andrew’s experience includes complex analysis, data extraction, and manipulation of data to provide end-users a meaningful experience. Andrew’s additional experience in providing direct end-user support on a custom-built application, requiring rapid troubleshooting using data analysis and hands on assessment, is a great asset to the team.
Andrew’s provides Orrigen with the skill set to fill a variety of roles in this emerging company. As Managing Partner of Business Development for the Residential Segment, Andrew is responsible for creating and maintaining relations with home-builder partners, and continually developing use cases to maximize the in-home experience. He will serve as the primary link between our business and our customers when Orrigen goes to market.
Mason Orr, Managing Partner, Business Development/Commercial
Mason joins Orrigen with a strong sales and leadership background. His business development and project management experience as a technology consultant makes him a great asset to the team. Mason has spent the last 6 years working with church and college ministries in various leadership roles, coordinating and directing large events and groups of people, and implementing organizational systems.
As the Managing Partner of Business Development for the Commercial Segment, Mason brings skills in leadership, personal development, and strategic problem solving. He is personable, relatable, and will be a great liaison between Orrigen and our future commercial partners.
Briana Anderson, Managing Partner, Administration
Briana brings a strong organizational background to Orrigen that has been utilized over the last two years providing detailed project analysis and third party research assistance on several major projects. These experiences have provided Briana with the unique opportunity to utilize the latest techniques in Agile and Scrum-based methodologies for a variety of business initiatives.
Briana’s attention to detail, project management and administrative acumen provides Orrigen with the right leader to implement our Standard Operating Procedures, User Guides, and Use Cases. A key member of the Orrigen team, Briana keeps the team organized and on track to deliver on our goals and objectives using the latest techniques.
Austin Chew, Managing Partner, Operations
For the last two years, Austin has been providing IT consulting to various clients in data management and conversion activities related to ERP transformations and mergers and acquisition support. Those efforts include using the latest cloud-based technologies and techniques, creating a skill-set and capability to utilize data as an asset; unlocking value to his client base.
Austin’s area of influence includes working directly with the C-Suite level clients on their priorities and delivering at an accelerated pace while also ensuring high quality.
Austin’s experience has created a foundation of focused delivery, utilizing the latest technologies for a demanding audience. As Managing Partner of Operations, he will bring the same quality of delivery to Orrigen’s operations, specifically focusing on the manufacturing process and supply and distribution with key partners.
